I Tested About-Face’s Most TikTok-Viral Products, and These Are the 10 I’d Buy Again

With so many popular products, an About-face review is long overdue. About-Face has quickly established itself as one of the most innovative makeup brands on the market. From its Cheek Freak Blush Balm to its newly launched foundation The Performer, About-Face knows a thing or two about creating TikTok-viral products. Although I haven’t tried any of the brand’s products before this, I knew so much about them from my TikTok For You page alone. After the brand launched at Ulta, I was constantly swatching everything in-store and seeing people rave about the products online. So naturally, it felt necessary to actually test everything out for myself and see if the products live up to the hype.

One of the things that struck me most was how colorful all of the products are. With so many shades, the brand is practically begging you to get more creative with your looks. 

All of About-Face’s products are simple yet elevated. I hate heavy foundation, but I thought the Performer was a really easy to wear foundation that didn’t feel heavy on my skin. Its Smokesticks, Shadowsticks, and Matte Fluid Eye Paints were all right up my alley and made applying eyeshadow quick and easy. I usually don’t wear eyeshadow on a daily basis but these products made it easy to. I love how the brand emphasizes that fun makeup doesn’t have to take hours to do—all of the products are extremely user friendly and that’s one thing I always look for.
