By this point, Sydney Sweeney must come to expect the circus that people make around her sex appeal. She was most recently the leading lady in Anyone But You, a film that’s being heralded for reviving the romance comedy genre. She’s asked about her boobs in every interview. At the premiere of her new horror movie Immaculate at Beyond Fest at The Egyptian Theatre Hollywood, Sweeney wore a masterpiece. She wore a Balmain sculpture—a white, glossy hard-shell piece in the shape of a bouquet of flowers with a pair of arms wrapped around them—tied to her torso and paired it with black straight leg trousers. And we can’t forget the gaggiest part: her hair slicked back like a Greaser. Some may say that she let the intricate showpiece of a top do all the talking, but I think the restraint of those details really made the outfit shine.

We have to talk about the hair. The little curl falling perfectly into her face reminds me of Zayn’s 2014 AMA’s look that had the culture completely in shambles back then. The wave in the front and the slicked back Kristen Stewart-esque styling is catnip for the gays who were already obsessed with her. Even the hands relaxed in her pockets are sexy and make me think she needs to be wearing trousers on every red carpet. She kept the jewelry to a minimum, wearing only what appears to be a pair of simple small gold and diamond hoop earrings.

It’s a definite departure from Sweeney’s typical red carpet look: a classic Hollywood gown with her tits hiked up to the gods and a gorgeous, Barbie-doll wave in her hair. There’s no red carpet she shows up to where she doesn’t look completely stunning, but people get a little crazy about Sydney Sweeney’s body on the Internet. When she spoke out about feeling isolated as a child when she developed boobs earlier than her peers, as if like clockwork, people made fun of her. At the same time, there are GIF’s and videos of the sex scenes in her movies all over Twitter, posted by accounts dedicated to posting actresses’ nude scenes. With that said, I think the Balmain top is really Sweeney playing her hand. It’s a hot outfit, just not in the way we’re used to from her.

For the event’s after party, Sweeney wore a fitted cropped ribbed white cardigan, which she left unbuttoned on the bottom half. She kept the styling from the Premiere, but swapped out the little hoops for a more chunky gold earring, similar to the Bottega drop earrings, if not the exact ones.
