Caution before proceeding because jewelry is a gateway accessory, and once you get into it, it’s kind of impossible to go without. But demi-fine jewelry brand Mejuri and Scandinavian designer Ganni have teamed up on a friendship jewelry collaboration that has piqued our curiosity. Mejuri x Ganni’s friendship jewelry collection is a four-piece capsule with a pair of friendship earrings, a friendship necklace, a friendship ring, and of course, a friendship bracelet.

For the heart of the collaboration, Mejuri designed a four-leaf-clover motif in sterling silver—one of the leaves in 18-karat gold vermeil, a reference to the clover motif Ganni regularly uses in its designs. “We don’t do a ton of collabs,” said Mejuri CEO Noura Sakkijha. “But this felt so natural, because we’re both focused on elevating the everyday with a bit of luxury.”

The Mejuri x Ganni collection features a pair of silver hoops, a charm bracelet, a wraparound ring, and a charm necklace—all adorned with the collaboration’s clover motif. The pieces range from $98 to $498, and they’re available to shop now on Mejuri’s online store, Ganni’s online store, and in several brick-and-mortar locations.

The pieces were previewed at a New York Fashion Week party on February 11, hosted by the two brands and Euphoria actress Maude Apatow. “I just wear Mejuri all the time because I feel like it’s really great wear-everyday jewelry,” said actress Maude Apatow, of the line.

Yumi & Natalie, models and sisters based in Los Angeles wear pieces from the collection.

As conversations of fine and demi-fine jewelry and everyday wear popularize online, it’s worth noting that the 18-karat gold vermeil will eventually fade with wear and reveal the sterling silver metal underneath. These shouldn’t be a problem for those with sensitive skin and metal allergies, but in terms of longevity, fading should be expected with gold vermeil, gold plating, and gold-filled jewelry.

Fittingly, the photo campaign for the friendship jewelry collection features pairs of real life best friends: model Tonia and content creator Karla, dancers Filippa and Angel, and model sisters Yumi and Natalie.

“We spent many hours each week dancing and laughing—it brought us together,” Filippa and Angel said of their friendship. “When one of us feels down, we try to make each other laugh with jokes and funny stories from our many good times at the dance school and backstage before shows.”
