I’m constantly looking at brands’ offerings as a shopping editor, so of course my wishlist is not only super long but forever expanding. There’s one brand that’s been especially present on this list and it’s not one I was expecting. While I might not be an exercise junkie, Athleta’s selection caught my eye. If you, too, are curious about what to buy at Athleta, don’t sweat it because I’m about to share my top picks—and a handful of them are on sale for a limited time.

First of all, if you’re like me and not super into working out, that doesn’t mean you can’t or shouldn’t be shopping from activewear brands like Athleta. I think it’s actually a smart move since clothing that’s made for exercise tends to be made from superior fabrics. The materials are oftentimes superior in quality, durability, breathability, and comfortability. If I’m deciding between a tiny black skirt that’s made from a cheap material versus one that’s made from recycled polyester and spandex, you know which option is going straight into my cart.

Not to mention, so many brands that are known for their purely functional activewear have a slew of more lifestyle offerings that you can wear just about anywhere. Athleta is definitely one of those brands—I mean just look at the Santorini Maxi Dress and the Retreat Wide Leg Linen Pant (I’m obsessed).

Check out Athleta’s site whether you’re on the hunt for your next go-to pair of gym leggings or a dress that’s comfy enough to wear all day long. The brand is hosting a spring sale that gives you 30 percent off of select styles through April 1, so don’t dilly-dally!

Keep scrolling for what to buy at Athleta, according to me, a shopping editor who’s never not browsing pages upon pages of products online.

Athleta Brooklyn Romper
Athleta.

If you’re gearing up for a hot summer vacay, don’t take off without the Brooklyn Utility Romper. It’s made from a breathable, wrinkle-resistant, UPF 40+, and abrasion-resistant recycled polyester material. Style the romper with your most comfortable pair of sneakers or flat sandals to get through a whole day of sightseeing without needing to change outfits or shoes. Score this travel-proof garment for just under $70.

Athleta Renew Built-In Bra Tank
Athleta.

I’m curious about this tank with a built-in bra because it essentially kills two birds with one stone. You get to wear a cute tank without having to worry about bra straps showing or falling down—a true godsend. And if you think about it, a discounted $42 price tag for a tank and a bra is such a good deal.

Athleta Brooklyn Heights Wide Leg Jumpsuit
Athleta.

The Brooklyn Heights Wide Leg Jumpsuit is the definition of versatile. You can throw it on for work, travel, lounging, or running errands and look so put-together and chic. Your outfit decision just got a whole lot easier thanks to this do-it-all number. Nab this spring essential for 30 percent off while you still can.

Athleta Renew Seamless Racerback Tank
Athleta.

I’ve been trying to track down the perfect grey racerback tank, and this one from Athleta looks like it could be in the running. Not to mention, it’s made from recycled polyester, nylon, and spandex, so it already has a leg up on its counterparts. Not a fan of light gray tanks? There are eight other fab colors to choose from in sizes XXS through 3X, with some on sale for as low as $20 during the ongoing sale.

Athleta Renew Seamless Muscle Tank
Athleta.

I love muscle tanks because of their higher necklines and the way they emphasize all of the work you did during repeated arm days. This tank comes in eight colorways and sizes XXS through XL. Since it’s 30 percent off, you might as well stock up on a few different versions.

Athleta Retreat Wide Leg Linen Pant
Athleta.

Ever since last summer, I’ve been trying to get my hands on a pair of linen pants. However, the biggest problem I encountered was sizing. What options are there for folks on the shorter side? Athleta’s Retreat Wide Leg Linen Pant. It comes in five colorways, a wide array of sizes, and three size ranges: Regular, Tall, and Petite.

Athleta Santorini Maxi Dress
Athleta.

I thrifted a dress with a similar silhouette to this one and have been wanting another version in different colors. I think I might’ve just found its near-perfect match in the Santorini Maxi Dress. It’s airy, flowy, and can easily be dressed up or down.

Athleta Aurora Seamless One Shoulder Tank
Athleta.

I’m always game for a one-shoulder top, and this tank it the kind of shirt I could see myself wearing on repeat all summer long. Style it with jeans, shorts, skirts, or leggings—the options are endless!

Athleta Water Resistant Bucket Hat
Athleta.

I’m not a big hat person, but when I do wear one, it has to be a bucket hat. What makes this one stand out among my small collection? It’s made from 100 percent recycled polyester that’s water-resistant and will stand the test of time. Brownie points go to its adjustable cord in the back. How often are you going to come across a bucket hat that lets you customize the fit?

Athleta Elation V-Neck Hybrid Dress
Athleta.

I’m a firm believer that everyone needs an LBD—that is, a long black dress—in their spring and summer wardrobes. They’re so easy to style in any direction, especially when you’re in a rush and have no clue what to wear.

Athleta Ace Tennis Skort 13.5”
Athleta.

I’m also a firm believer in sporting activewear for a night out. I already have a stretchy, plain black skirt with a crossover waist that doubles as a going-out garment, and I’ve never felt so comfortable while in sweaty, claustrophobic bars. The Ace Tennis Skort reminds me of my beloved, versatile skirt. It’s breathable, wicking, and the fabric dries fast so if you’re getting down on the dance floor or someone accidentally splashes a bit of their drink on you, at least you know your skort will survive.
